Adam: My first
script, which is why large chunks of it aren't in script format.
It's still readable... barely... just keep in mind it was written over a
couple of days and no plot element in it is original. Still, there
are bits I like and will try to work into future projects. The
plot is not one of those things. Apathy: This is something I wrote in about fifteen minutes for a friend's Theatre Arts project in which he had to perform a monologue. It's based on an actual incident, with some of the details changed so it's funny and not mind-numbingly stupid. I think it was written in about the same tone as the song "Alice's Restaurant." Boy Meets Girl: This was the first paper I ever wrote for my Expository Writing class. It's about 90% factual, with some literary exaggeration. The original title was "Why I Should Have Been A Lesbian Just Like My Mother Told Me," but I trimmed it for brevity. The Hotel Carolina: In October of 2005, I spent five days in a mental hospital because of my panic disorder and a severe bout of depression. Included here are entries from the journal I wrote during my free time there. (Yes, I know "Hotel California" isn't really about a mental hospital, but the name was too nifty to pass up.) |
